Abstract

This projects aims to improve arithmetic word problem solving by developing a web tool and by using dynamic complex models to measure the skills and performance of students. We follow a multidisciplinary approach to characterize the complexity of arithmetic word problems and reading comprehension of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) statements.
